Job Details

• Virtual Monitor Tech position at AZ Clinical Command Center in Phoenix, AZ.
• Responsible for performing remote surveillance for multiple locations, specific to cardio-pulmonary rhythms via a central monitoring station.
• Recognizing, recording, and reporting potentially dangerous rhythm changes and arrhythmias.

Job Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited program including EKG Interpretation.
• Minimum 2 years of recent related work experience; 3 years preferred.
• Must pass Advanced Dysrhythmia exam prior to accepting.

Schedule Information

• 12 hour shifts; 0700 - 1930 and 1900 - 0730.
• No set schedules.
• Must work 4 weekend shifts during a schedule.

Unit Specific Information

• Opportunity to cross train to Virtual Patient Companion or Clinical Connection Specialists.
• Unit/Department specific orientation required.

Additional Details

• Strict no cell phone policy; hospital provides work phone number for traveler to share.
• Hospital does not sign timesheets.
• Must be available for 2-3 days of day shift for orientation.
