Rock Medical Group is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Kingman, Arizona.
Job Description & RequirementsGeneral job duties. Types of procedures required.\nCaring for 5 to 6 patients that require in-patient hospitalization for medical or surgical issues/procedures.\n\n2. Equipment utilized in the unit/dept. (Is there computerized charting, medication systems, etc.\nPyxis medication station, Meditch charting, Alariz IV pumps, remote telemetry system.\n\n3. Required skills and minimum years of experience.\nMinimum of at least 1 year acute care, EKG competent\n\n4. Specific licensures and certifications/registrations required. (ARRT, CRT, BLS, ACLS, etc)\nACLS, BLS\n\n5. Shift or schedule requirements. (Will the employee ever work alone? Is call required? If so, how often? Are weekends required?)\nMost be willing to work every other weekend or one weekend shift per week. Weekend shifts are Saturday and Sunday. On a unit with up to one other nurse and LNA/UC.\n\n6. Floating to other units/departments. (If so, to which units/departments?)\nAll med surg remote tele units on 2nd floor and 3rd floor\nOccasional float to PCU (required) if needed\n\n7. Bed size/number of rooms for this unit/dept.\n2nd floor has 4 units, 2E = 20, 2S = 14, 2C = 23, and 2N = 17, 3rd floor has 3 units CDU = 20, 3N= 20, 3S = 23\n\n8. Nurse to patient ratio of this unit. (nursing only)\n5-6:1\n\n9. Dress Code:\nNavy blue\n\n10. Tell us about the unit/department specific training and orientation program.\n2 to 3 shifts of orientation on the floor. Must attend 8 hours of hospital orientation on a Monday.\nComments: No local travelers within 50 miles\n
