WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
We are actively seeking a talented and experienced Website Developer to join our team! The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing and maintaining e-commerce stores, with expertise in platforms such as Shopify, WordPress and WooCommerce. As a Website Developer, you will play a key role in creating engaging and user friendly online shopping stores that meet our clients' needs and drive business growth.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
* Develop and maintain e-commerce websites using platforms such as Shopify, WordPress and WooCommerce
* Collaborate with designers and project managers, and stakeholders to translate design mockups into fully functional websites
* Customize and extend website functionalities using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and relevant plugins or extensions
* Integrate third-party services and APIs for payment processing, shipping, and other e-commerce functionalities
* Optimize website performance for speed, responsiveness, and search engine visibility
Troubleshoot and debug issues, ensuring smooth operation and user experience across different devices and browsers
* Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to e-commerce website development
* Provide technical support and guidance to clients and team members as needed
* Collaborate with other developers and cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of projects
WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE TABLE
* 5+ years experience in Website Development
* 5+ years experience as an Website Developer, with a strong portfolio showcasing successful e-commerce website projects.
* Proficiency in designing websites using platforms such as Shopify, WordPress, and WooCommerce, with a solid understanding of their respective ecosystems, themes, and plugins.
* Advanced skills in Figma or similar design tools, with the ability to create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes with attention to detail and user experience.
* Strong understanding of e-commerce best practices, including UX/UI principles and CRO techniques.
* Experience with responsive and mobile-first design principles, ensuring optimal user experience across various devices and screen sizes.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate design concepts and interact effectively with clients and team members.
* Detail-oriented with a passion for innovation and continuous learning in the field of e-commerce website design and development.
