Essential Functions

• Implement Salesforce configuration changes, including (but not limited to): Flow, assignment rules, approval processes, fields, page layouts, record types, dynamic layouts, apps, actions, and custom settings.
• Respond to user requests and assist with developing solutions to address business needs
• Set objectives and work independently on large, moderately complex technical projects or assignments under general supervision.
• Implement changes in and process to solve problems or improve systems effectiveness of area. 
• Identify and gather requirements, translating into best practice, scalable solutions with a focus on exceptional user experience.
• Identify unused or underutilized platform features.
• Aid in Salesforce and vendor upgrades to ensure successful integration.

Additional Responsibilities

• Provide support and training to staff on the use of Salesforce applications.
• Create and maintain documentation for Salesforce supported applications.
• Provide guidance and assistance to entry level professionals or support employees.

• Proficiency in development organization end-user requirements and system capabilities.
• Ability to interact with stakeholders from a wide range of professional and cultural backgrounds.
• Ability to use tact, sound judgment, diplomacy, maintain confidentiality, and exercise discretion.
• Motivated, adaptable team player with the ability to work well with others in a team environment with minimal supervision.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent customer service orientation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of Salesforce CRM preferred.

Required Education/Experience and Benefits

• Associates Degree preferred
• 3-5 years relevant work experience required
• Experience at Purdue University or development experience preferred.
