Akkodis is seeking a Release Manager for a Contract job with a client in Southlake, TX (Hybrid) . Ideally looking for applicants with a solid background in the financial services industry.
Rate Range: $80/hour to $85/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Job Description:
We are seeking a Release Manager with expertise in automation and thought leadership to streamline release management. The ideal candidate will have experience with version control tools like GitHub and BitBucket, as well as automation tools like Mabl and Bamboo. You should be a change agent, driving continuous improvement, risk management, and process implementation. This role requires a strategic leader who can work collaboratively across teams and lead with a partnership mindset, not a "dictator" approach.
You will be instrumental in guiding the organization from BitBucket to GitHub, enhancing release processes, and leveraging automation to optimize the release pipeline. Jira and Confluence are must-have tools, and a solid understanding of Agile principles is crucial. This is a high-impact role where you will partner with development, QA, operations, and product teams to ensure smooth and timely releases.
