Job Title: Loan Officer Assistant

Overview: We are currently seeking a highly motivated Loan Officer Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will provide crucial support to our loan officers, ensuring smooth and efficient processing of mortgage applications and excellent customer service to our Spanish-speaking clients. This role involves communication with clients, gathering financial information, and assisting in the overall loan origination process.

Responsibilities:

1. Client Communication:

   • Communicate with clients, both in English , to collect necessary information and explain the loan application process.
   • Address client inquiries and provide regular updates on the status of their loan applications.

2. Loan Application Processing:

   • Assist in the preparation and submission of loan applications.
   • Collect and verify financial documents from clients to complete the loan file.
   • Ensure accuracy and completeness of loan documentation.

3. Language Support:

   • Provide language assistance to Spanish-speaking clients throughout the loan process.
   • Translate documents and communicate effectively in both languages.

4. Coordination with Loan Officers:

   • Collaborate with loan officers to gather additional information required for loan approvals.
   • Assist in the coordination of loan closings and other related activities.

5. Data Entry and Documentation:

   • Enter accurate and up-to-date information into the loan processing system.
   • Maintain organized and complete electronic files for each loan application.

6. Customer Service:

   • Deliver exceptional customer service to clients by promptly addressing their needs and concerns.
   • Ensure a positive and professional client experience.

Qualifications:

1. Bilingual in Spanish a plus.
2. Active NMLS license
3. High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in finance or related field is a plus.
4. Previous experience in a similar role or within the mortgage industry is preferred.
5. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
7. Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy in all tasks.
8. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and loan processing software.
