Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic Job Description Seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for visually inspecting and testing machinery and equipment. You will listen for unusual sounds from machines to detect malfunctions and discuss machine operations with supervisors or other maintenance workers to diagnose problems or repair machines. Your duties will include dismantling defective machines and installing new or repaired parts, cleaning and lubricating machinery parts, and laying out, assembling, installing, and maintaining pipe systems and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment. Additionally, you will set up and operate machine tools like lathes, grinders, drills, and milling machines to repair or fabricate machine parts, jigs, fixtures, and tools. You will also use cutting torches or welding equipment to cut or join metal parts and maintain a safe and organized work station while adhering to all safety rules.
