Looking for an enthusiastic, task-oriented individual that has experience in sales and has excellent multi-tasking abilities. McCreerys Home Furnishings is the leading custom furniture and interior design resource in Sacramento and the surrounding areas. With over 65 years of experience of providing our clients the highest quality products, we offer a diverse selection of styles and unique products from over 50 manufacturers all at one location. We pride ourselves in our professionalism and commitment to customer service.

Job Duties include, but are not limited to:

* Maintain professional appearance and attitude at all times.

* Meets with customers in a sales environment to drive product sales and knowledge.

* Know product line features and benefits for all products on the showroom floor.

* Adheres to any and all company policies and procedures.

* Attend all required meetings.

* Makes sales appointments with clients.

* Generates new leads by meeting with consumers.

* Follow up with any clients to make sure that they are satisfied with their purchase.

* Understands how to make products appeal to consumers based on the environment and current trends.

* Demonstrates advanced sales knowledge.

* Familiarity with CRM programs.

* Possess exceptional customer service attitude and skills.

* Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.

* Ability to greet customers and make them feel welcome. Maintaining a positive, empathetic and professional attitude toward customers at all times.

* Responding promptly to customer inquiries. Communicating and coordinating with colleagues as necessary.

* Ensure customer satisfaction and provide professional customer support. Ability to organize, multitask, prioritize and work under pressure.

* Keeps product catalogs updated for assigned vendors.

* Be prepared to maintain and provide forms on follow-up calls required.

* Prepares sales slip and/or contract.

* Receives payments and/or credit.

Education and/or Experience: A.A. degree from two year college or tech school preferred and/or two years related experience; or equivalent combination if education and experience. Experience with CAD and floor planning a must. Experience with selling mattresses is a plus.

Salary and Benefits: $40,000-$60,000, paid on written sales.
